Who are we?
Mark Smith and Sean Mitchen formed WORK Architects after years of previous work with large national architecture firms. In their combined 30 plus years of experience they have gathered extensive knowledge of multiple project types and construction methods.
After many discussions while building Mark's house, they felt that the time was right to begin their own firm. The idea is to create a firm that is efficient and streamline, that can provide personal and direct relationships with our clients. A firm that delivers a no-nonsense approach to architecture, giving our clients a project that is on-time, on budget and uniquely creative.
They are proud to be Midwestern boys, who believe in the ideals of a strong work ethic, thrift, and the rugged pioneer spirit. They both have a strong background in architecture and construction, providing a unique blend of creativity and know-how.
